what do you use between the rope and metal liter coming from the dart, i was thinking of usinf the smallest twist lock link. But im kinda debating that. Do you just attach the rope to the liter if so what knot do you use.

I have used quicklinks in the past but I do not use them now. Currently I make a loop in the rope and tie a knot in it. This leaves a loop which i stick through the opening in the cable. I then put the point up through the loop. When you pull it thight the cable will clamp down on two layers of rope. I have caught many gators in the ten to eleven foot range and have never had a problem with even 1/4 inch rope. If you have tips that they attach swivels to then you will need to use a quicklink. I will try to put up a picture on the website tonight of the knot that I use.

Check your email, I sent a photo of the way we attach the rope to the leader with the barb.
