Posted: Mon Sep 05, 2011 8:26 pmThis year is my first mud motor and so far so good. The one thing that comes in handy is when you can get into areas no one else can. The real test for me will be when I take it up to Orange Lake later this month to get the rest of my tags filled...will keep ya posted

Posted: Tue Sep 06, 2011 8:37 pmThe LT was choosen simply because it was in my price range, I got my set up used. I put in a lot of research into both the LT and the SD motors and it seemed like the SD was quicker, could be set up for remote drive and better for longer distances but as compared to the LT it was slightly more expensive and I did not have any requirements that the SD offered that the LT did not. The LT is like 4x4 low and the SD is more like 4x4 high...but it all came down to price for me, I needed a good reliable set up without paying for the marketing of a SD.
