Well there is 242 left so I think I will be able to pick up a set to take my daughter out in the Jacksonville area. The permits we have pulled so far is for Lake Hancock which is twenty minutes from the house and Polk County which give us some close to home opertunities. I may need a little help once picking out a place to hunt once I figure out if I can get one of the County permits up by Jax.

Well the permits all went in the first twelve minutes. I was able to pick up two for St Johns County. Now comes the hard part which is going to find a good place find some big gators in unfamiliar waters. My daughter would be happy just getting away and harpooning any old gator but we can try for big. Most of the tags that were left looks to be for places that are going to be hard to hunt. If they were not so far I would have picked up a few more just to have options if we wrap up our tags quickly. We have 14 high priced tags to get filled before we can relax. One thing in not being able to pick up so many extra tags is that we might actually be able to get in some bow and muzzleloader hunting this year.
